Infrared Obstacle Avoidance IR Sensor Module

The Infrared Obstacle Avoidance IR Sensor Module has great adaptive capability of the ambient light. It has a pair of infrared transmitter and receiver tubes. The infrared emitting tube emits a certain frequency. When it encounters an obstacle in the detection direction (reflecting surface), the infrared is reflected back to the receiver tube. After processing by a comparator circuit, the green LED lights up. At the same time, the signal output will output a digital signal (a low-level signal).

The detection distance can be adjusted using the potentiometer knob. The effective distance range is 2 to 10 cm. The working voltage is 3.3V-5V. The detection range of the IR sensor can be adjusted by the potentiometer. It has little interference, is easy to assemble, and easy to use.

It can be widely used for robot obstacle avoidance, obstacle avoidance cars, assembly line counting, black-and-white line tracking, and many other occasions.
