TP4056 1A Li-Ion Battery Charging Board Micro USB with Current Protection

Note: This product comes in two variants of IC (TP4056 and XL 4056A,HW-107) that work the same way. We will ship either one randomly.

This module is a TP4056 1A Li-Ion Battery Charging Board Micro USB with Current Protection. It is ideal for charging single cell 3.7V lithium-ion (Li-Ion) batteries with a capacity of 1 Ah or more, such as 16550s, that lack their own protection circuit. It uses the TP4056 charger IC and the DW01 battery protection IC to provide 1A of charging current and to stop charging when the battery is full.

Additionally, the protection IC will disconnect the load if the battery voltage falls below 2.4V, preventing the cell from operating at a dangerously low voltage. It also protects against over-voltage and reverse polarity connection, although it may damage itself instead of the battery in such cases. Therefore, please ensure that you connect it correctly the first time.

This module is manufactured with fully automated machinery and tested for quality and performance before shipping from zbotic.in. It is specially designed for single lithium battery charging. Other features of the TP4056 include a current monitor, an under-voltage lockout, an automatic recharge function, and two status pins that indicate charge termination and input voltage presence.

Using the module:

1. Connect micro-USB cable for power, or 5V DC to pads marked IN+ and IN- on the left-hand side of the module.
2. Connect cell to charge to B+/B- pads on the right-hand side of the module.
3. A load (something for the battery to power) can be connected to the OUT+/OUT- pads on the right-hand side.
4. Important! Disconnect load when charging.
5. The red LED indicates charging in progress, green LED indicates charging has finished.
6. Never charge your battery at a rate greater than 1C.

NOTE:

1. Ampere meter can only be connected to a 5v input end of the module.
2. It is better than the charging current is 37% of the battery capacity. If you charge the battery of 1000mAh, a current of 400mAh is enough.
3. The connection wire should not be too thick.
4. Make sure the connect point is good.
5. If the input voltage is too high, like 5.2v, the current will be less than 1000mA, it is normal. It is protection function, auto-subtract the charging current to avoid burn damage to the chip.
6. NO Reverse polarity.
